The program can act as a server for streaming over the network and using IPv4 or IPv6 protocols, provided there is enough bandwidth. It does not require installation of any additional codecs, since all components are already contained in it (based on other open source projects). VLC Media Player is designed to work in Windows NT and above, as well as many other alternative operating systems. It has a Russian interface.
